River Overlook. Tarpon Point.jpgOnly reachable by paddle craft, Tarpon Point Landing provides a unique, secluded resting spot on the Wild and Scenic Myakka River. The site is known as a great spot for tarpon and snook fishing. Lifelong conservationist Charley Richards donated the site, hoping his gift would shed light on the value of land preservation for the entire community, with other landowners choosing to follow suit.  Read more here.

A free day of family fun on the shores of Little Sarasota Bay! The day includes old fashioned games, arts and crafts, a brush fire truck, water conservation activities, live music and a chance to try kayaking as part of the fun.
