Only reachable by paddle craft, Tarpon Point Landing provides a unique, secluded resting spot on the Wild and Scenic Myakka River. The site is known as a great spot for tarpon and snook fishing. Lifelong conservationist Charley Richards donated the site, hoping his gift would shed light on the value of land preservation for the entire community, with other landowners choosing to follow suit.
